Privacy Policy

This is a courtesy translation. The Dutch version is legally authoritative.

WedstrijdMaatje is built with privacy as a starting point. We only collect what's needed to make the app work. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data. This policy explains which data we process, why, and what rights you have.

WedstrijdMaatje is provided by Rory Meijer (the Netherlands). Questions about your privacy? Email info@wedstrijdmaatje.nl.

• Account data — your name and (if shared) email address via Sign in with Apple. Apple may pass on a hidden relay email address; in that case we don't receive your real address.
• Profile — your chosen handle and the clubs you follow.
• Match activity — your attendance (RSVP), whether you're looking for or have a spare ticket, offered or joined rides and messages in match threads.
• Cards — club cards you add (image and details), and who you share them with.
• Photos — photos you post yourself at a match.
• Friends — friendships you make.
• Technical data — a device token for push notifications (only if you allow notifications).

Football data (matches, standings, clubs) comes from an external source and contains no personal data.

• To make the app work: showing your clubs, managing RSVPs, cards, rides and friends.
• To (optionally) send you push notifications, for example just before kick-off or when a friend makes a change.
• To prevent misuse and keep the service secure.

We do not use your data for ads, profiling or tracking, and don't share it with advertisers.

• Other users only see what you share yourself: your handle, your RSVP for a match, cards you share with them, rides and your messages.
• Processors we use to run the service: Apple (Sign in with Apple and push notifications via APNs) and our hosting provider. They process data solely on our instructions.

Connections use encrypted HTTPS. Uploaded images (cards and photos) are stored encrypted. Data is kept on servers within the EU.

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we erase your data and revoke the Sign in with Apple connection.

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data. You can arrange this yourself in the app:

• Access/export: Profile → Privacy & GDPR → Download my data (or on the web version).
• Delete: Profile → Privacy & GDPR → Delete account — this permanently removes all your data.

You can also email a request to info@wedstrijdmaatje.nl. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

WedstrijdMaatje is not aimed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy. The current version is always at wedstrijdmaatje.nl/privacy.
